You’ve almost certainly heard – or at least heard of - Synthesis Station’s broadcasts on the Net (or the airwaves, if you have the hardware). They are known for sending out human music and video footage from their vantage point in space: often featuring robots or animals on the island’s surface – or occasionally just random empty stretches of land which they apparently must have found interesting.

If you’ve tried to talk to them they come across as quite reserved, mostly just making observations on matters rather than talking about their own views.
